The Knight:

Knights move in a very different way from the other pieces – going two squares in one direction, and then one more move at a 90 degree angle, just like the shape of an “L”. Knight's are the only pieces that have the special ability of Jumping over pieces. To capture, a knight must reach it's final square and land on an enemy piece where it will capture that piece and place itself on that square. The total value of a knight is equal to 3 points. Refer to the diagram on the left to better understand the movements of a knight.
