Double Bishop Checkmate:

This is one of the more complex checkmates - as opposed to two Rooks and a Queen. The Double Bishop mate is a combo of two bishops + king vs a lone king. The technique in principle involves, activating all your forces and cutting of squares for the enemy king until he's forced into the corner of the board. Since both bishops control squares of the opposite colour, they work well together in driving the king toward the corner. See the demonstration below for the checkmating pattern to be achieved.
