Queen's Fianchetto Mate:

The Queen's Fianchetto Mate involves the Queen & Bishop on a powerful diagonal working together to deliver the final blow to a lone king. In this example, The Queen swings her way onto the same diagonal of the bishop from a1 - h8, preparing to land on the square g7. Black ignores the threat and moves his pawn to b5. White now has formed what we call a 'battery'. When two or more pieces occupy a diagonal or line increasing the pressure for attacking purposes. White's queen enters the square g7 with mate since the Queen is now supported by the bishop.
